OS: Windows 7 SP 1 (6.1), Arch.: x86_64, MuseScore version (64-bit): 3.1.0.6437, revision: 06f0ddd

1) Default score
2) Add text line (and straight line)
3) Format -> Style -> Text line
4) Placement Above (default position) : change the settings X and Y

Result: nothing happens (for the text line, and straight line)

Ditto for the settings in "Text Styles" -> Text line, etc.

  • For the record, and for fear of forgetting it, I think I saw that the trill line, when it's below, the Y setting doesn't work either.
    It would probably be worth checking everything in these lines and style settings.
