Please consider the folowing two suggestions.

Make custom tags permanent. Custom tags are only saved to the specific score they are created in, which
means one has to add customs tags to every new score. For example, I often like to include a reference of my source material in the footer by creating a custom tag "reference" and referencing it in the footer box under styles with "$:reference:" . Currently, I have to add the tag to every score. Why not make any user added tags permanent, with the option of deleting specific custom tags later?

Remove original "source" tag information (e.g., https://musescore.com/user/...) in score properties after "saving as" to ensure that the new "save as" score will not replace the original score when uploaded to musescore.com. Currently, the "save as" a document retains the same upload source link, even after there has been substantional changes to it, including changes in file name and title. Uploading a "save as" document via "File > Save on Line" should be considered a new document, it's source link updated as a new entry after saving to musescore.com.

Comments

Tags are in scores, so new score, new tags, there's no setting for them. But we could probably get scores created from templates to inherit the template's tags.
The 2nd request should be far easier and straight forward to implement, and also is very needed, i accidentially overwrote online scores due to this lacking feature.
