I have the same problem. Scores (all scores) that previously played back properly seem to randomly lose the rhythm and some notes sound scratchy or cracked in a way that seems associated with the rhythm irregularies with the latest MuseScore update. I am using Windows 10 Home Version 10.0.17134 Build 17134 . Is there any way to go back to the version of MuseScore 3 before the latest update?
Got to be a different problem, or fall back to previous version won't help, as that is the version this issue has been reported against.
Other than that same questions as above.
Maybe #273250: Tempos make super-fast or super-slow speeds is present again? In this case the speed is much faster, but I also encountered very slow speed several times (happens often with those notes with fermato, they are stretched unreasonably long, for example 30 seconds to 1 minute).

What version of MuseScore exactly, what operatings system, what soundfont, sample score?
Does a factory reset help?
