Out of tune notes
I am transcribing a song for the cello and at one point there is harmony between A's on two different octaves. For just a few measures the top A goes about 10 cents out of tune. It is not like this anywhere else in the score, and it is not the sound font (i tried changing it). It is just sharp enough to make that section sound horrendous. halp pliz.

Can you attach here the score you are having problems with and specify which version of MuseScore, which operating system and which soundfont?
When the musicians do vibrato, the tuning change is more than 10 cents (in fact, up to 21 cents).
This difference doesn't fall into the category of horrendous or out-of-tuned.
My hearing is absolute. And I like the tuning-difference of 3 ~11 cents between instruments :)
The notes are all out of tune, up to and including measure 18, and on purpose, set by you, to -25 cent off
And in measures 12 and 13 the top staff is at 0 cent, the others at -25...

Why didn't I see this attachment before; was added later?
and Yes: 1/8 minute interval*1 is above acceptable tolerance.
moreover, this is done by you within the score.
*1: 25 cents = 1 Pythagorean comma (1/8) 🎚
