BUG REPORT

(MuseScore recommended format)

Note: This bug currently applies only to the MuseScore 3.1 Beta version listed under "Specs".

When referring to the piano, this can be substituted for any other grand-staffed instrument

Steps to reproduce bug (requires an instrument such as Piano)
1. Click on a measure (Treble or Bass Clef, not both)
2. Select Start or stop playback, or just press "Space".

Expected Behavior: In the most recent stable release, when selecting a measure of the piano, or any other grand-staffed instrument, it should playback both clefs of the instrument.

Actual Behavior: MuseScore only plays back the staff of the selected measure, and seems to just mute the other staff.

Workaround? (Yes/No): In order to play both parts of the piano, both staffs of the desired measure must be selected, and then playback will proceed like normal.

Comments

The new feature causing this is being pulled from 3.1 release because of this and other usability issues. It will be added back after more thought has been devoted to how to best implement the new feature.

Title Allow selective playback of staves Selective playback in grand-staffed instruments

I decided not to change the title, then did :(
