Project
Insert a note in voice 2 that ends the measure (like a half note that starts on beat 3 in 4/4),
press S to start a slur,
enter a note in the next measure.
Result: Slur is too long and terminate after the note.
Workaroud: In select the first note of the slur, ctrl+click the last note of the slur and press S to apply a proper slur.
Comments
Isn't this the same as #166116: Slurs terminate in wrong spot in voices other than 1?
Yes, I forgot about that one. It was such a long time ago, and at some point the slurs in this situation ceased to happen at all. See #289453: [Regression] Unable to start slur mode (within note input) one voice > 1 at end of measure. I think the other one should be closed and this one left open because the results have changed a couple of times since the first bug report, but I'll defer to your decision.
This one is the duplicate. The other one has an image that shows the problem, and it already has a pending PR to resolve the issue.
I see now, the PR was created after the regression was fixed. The timeline was confusing jumping around in issues.
