Project

1) Add a new crescendo (or decrescendo) line
2) Change some properties (like text and velocity change)
3) Copy and Paste it
4) It creates a new crescendo line with default properties

I can understand the priority being medium, because there is a workaround and there are currently more pressing bugs to fix. But the severity should be major because the entire purpose of this feature is to be able to duplicate a hairpin and not have to adjust all of the options. The feature is practically worthless this way. You can apply a new hairpin with these results.

Severity S4 - Minor S3 - Major

OK, I'll buy that. But FWIW, I don't think the main point of this was really anything specific about copying properties, it was more about copying a hairpin with its associated dynamics in one operation. And the majority of such hairpins wouldn't have any customized properties to worry about. But it is true that when used for this alternate purpose, it won't work, so that's a major limitation indeed.

(This is mostly for tktk) If the OP's purpose is to have the dynamic affect the hairpin, then the OP needs to either ensure the dynamic is included in the selection being copied or reenter it after copying the hairpin. If you edit the velocity change in the hairpin, the following dynamic will not affect the hairpin's playback (as has been the case since at least version 2.0.3). The effect of the dynamic are, in my opinion, unrelated.
