Slow Preferences Okaying

Anyone else notice how time-consuming something as simple as an update of a keyboard shortcut is in MS3? I've screen-captured from MS2.3 & the recent MS3 versions for comparison. Something isn't right with the current implementation, as it takes entirely too much time.

Yes, I noticed.

I think: whatever you do in preferences section (or without changing anything, just press the Apply or OK button), everything is refreshed, including audio drivers; mixer and synthesizer settings.
I'm guessing the delay came from here.
