Please attach the specific score you are having trouble with. Note "Del" is not supposed to delete measures, but Ctrl+Delete should unless you have customized that shortcut in Edit / Preferences / Shortcuts. How about the menu command, Tools / Remove Selected Range? Does it work? And does it list the shortcut as Ctrl+Del?
My mistake on the "Del" alone, but CTRL+Del does not work. I have not customized shortcuts, and Tools / Remove Selected Range does not work either. It does list CTRL+Del as the shortcut. File is attached.
I'm very familiar with all of the basic. About five minutes ago, Ctl+delete stopped working, and all other ways to perform that function from the menu failed. I restarted and I'm OK. Tell those boys over in Telemetry to stop messin' wif me. I'm inclined to report this to the shareholders.

What operating system do you use and keep in mind you must have the measure selected for ctrl+del to work.

Are you sure you have a range selection when you press Ctrl+Del? You see a blue rectangle? Which measure or measures are you having trouble deleting?
I tried the following:
1) click an empty spot in measure 1, top staff, to make the blue rectangle appear
2) press Ctrl+Det
It worked as expected.

I restarted my computer and now it works fine! Some sort of glitch I suppose. Thanks for your help!
