When I enter a slur connecting two notes, the program likes to auto-correct it to attach additional notes in the next measure. This only happens periodically. It seems to stop doing that when the file is closed and re-opened. Also the files occasionally say they are corrupted when I try to open them.

Are you using a tie instead of a slur?

Sorry my dad wrote it wrong. It is supposed to be a tie, not a slur.I sent another version of it with an example musescore file attachment. The new title is "Tie does not work".
