additional bars
I forgot some bars in my already finished piece of music and have to add them in the middle of it. How can I do that?

Click on the next bar/measure from where you want to insert it and:
a. press "insert" key on your keyboard.
b. Right-click an empty area on the measure, hover on the "Add" item, then select "insert one bar/measure" or "insert bars/measures".
c. go to "Measures" item on "Add" menu

thanks for answering, but it doesnt work. Do I have to click into the bar "before" or "behind" I want go in between? Where is the insert key?

I'm glad you got it, but if anyone else is reading, if you have a Mac, you don't have an insert key, so shift-i will do it.

Is that the default shortcut on Mac or something you added? It is not mentioned in https://musescore.org/en/handbook/3/measure-operations#insert
OK, I checked, it is the default, will amend the handbook
