positioning the clef at the end of the measure?

Hi there,
How may I position the clef at the end of the measure? (see att)

I did that, I mean I've clicked once on the rest so it got highlighted (in blue since it's voice 1) than I've double-clicked on the clef. Nothing happened.
I've even tried by right-clicking on the rest, select "copy" then right-clicked on the clef and selected "swap with clipboard", and nothing happened.

Delete that clef first. Click the first note of the next measure, or the next measure as a whole (there's a subtle difference between those 2 methods and I'm not sure which is which), then double click the clef on the palette

As Jojo mentioned, select the next measure as a whole (the measure after where you want the clef to be—you will see a range selection), then emplace the desired clef. It may be better to not think of it as 'the last item of the previous measure', but rather as a courtesy for the next, since this is exactly how it appears if you were have a new system between measures.
