Musescore 2 file
I install all of the updates when they are sent out. I noticed i still have a Musescore 2 file in my Programs file, right next to my Musescore 3 file.
Can I delete the old Musescore 2 file?

I'd keep it though, in case you need it for smaller edits to yout MuseScore 2 scores, where adjusting the layout zo MuseScore 3 might be too time consuming

So Musescore 3 is totally independent of Musescore 2?
Uninstalling Musescore 2 will not effect Musescore 3?

Yes and no, respectivly ;-)
You can. but most of us don't recommend it. While MsueScore 2 scores will open in MuseScore 3 and often look just fine or better than ever, there are some scores - especially ones that made heavy use of manual adjustment and/or that relied on quirks of the default layout in MuseScore 2 - that will look strange at first in MuseScore 3. While it's usually not much work to update the scores, sometimes it's simpler to just keep MuseScore 2 around for scores like that.
