How do I get my staves within a system to align from page to page?
See attached picture to see what I mean. On the second of the two pages, the staves are much more compressed and close together. I understand that this is because the second page has doesn't have dynamics and, therefore, Musescore does not need to adjust to avoid collisions.
But how can I just make it consistent between each page so each staff aligns with itself from page to page? Is there a quick way to take the settings Musescore uses when there's lots of information between staves and just set that as the default for all pages? Regardless of how much information is between each staff?

Specifically, [min. / max. system distance]

Thanks for the reply. So, I think I found what you were talking about and I made is so Max and Min system distance were the same but nothing happened. Apply was grayed out so I couldn't even click on it. Nothing changed when I clicked OK. See attached picture.

Try inserting spacers on page 2, see: https://musescore.org/en/handbook/3/breaks-and-spacers#spacers
Can you attach here the score you are having problems with?

Try changing the Staff distance value but you're gonna have to find a compromise.

"Apply to all parts" is grayed out, if you're not in a part but in the main score. "Ok" applies to score
System distance won't make a difference here, there is only one system per page. If you want to force the systems to have the same height even though the content differs, you have two choices, obviously:
1) make the smaller systems artificially larger than they need to be
2) force the larger systems to be artificially smaller they need to be
The former is easy, just increase staff distance in that same dialog.
The latter is easy enough in one sense also - just set "Minimum vertical distance" to a sufficiently large negative value in Format / Style / Score. But what you're really doing is telling MuseScor how much collision you're OK with, and it will gladly let things collide. To me, better to try adjusting the dymamics etc manually to avoid the collisions yourself, that's more what a professional engraver would do. Or, just let the systsmes have different sizes, which is perfectly acceptable for most purposes as well.

BTW, also: you should at the very least flip the dynamics for the vocal staves above the staff ("X") does the trick, which may well reclaim some space. You can also use "Extra distance above staff" in staff properties for those staves to force additional space just for those while allowing the instrumental staves to be tighter.
