Selective copy of lyrics only - multiple selections work only with command-key not with shift key. If a second criteria is checked (i.e. voice 1 and lyrics), then multiple selection with shift is possible.

workaround: select every syllable with command (tedious)

Can you explain in more detail what you mean? Something other than right click and the existing options in the Select menu? A sample score and a clear description of which lyrics you want to select might help.

I want to copy the lyrics from one voice to another, so I press F6 and uncheck all except for the lyrics. Then I want to select bars 13 through 20 in the first voice for example by clicking on the fist syllable and shift-clicking on the last (as I would do it copying notes). But as soon as I shift-click on the last syllable, only this is selected. Multiple selection is only possible using the command-key, it should also be possible using shift-click.

The selection filter does not work that way, indeed, but the Select menu I mentioned above does. So:

1) select the range containing the lyrics you want to copy (eg, click first note or measure, shift+click last)
2) right click a lyric (on Mac, this is usually Ctrl+click or two-finger-tap)
3) from the menu that pops up, click Select / All Similar Elements in Range Selection

Now you can copy and paste that to another voice, another staff, etc. So, you definitely do now have to resort to selecting one by one.

Also see #279926: Allow multiple similar items selection with shift+click for further discussion of the proposed new feature of allowing click / shift+click as a shortcut for selecting similar elements.
