problems importing mxl files
Hi, I am having trouble importing some MXL files from Sibelius. When I import drum music, the playback is changed to a piano, and then when I change the instrument to drumkit in stave and part properties, it reverts to a wide range of percussion sounds. Am I doing something wrong? thanks in advance

It's not you. It's the way MuseScore handles percussion. You'll need to read up on the drum palette in the MuseScore manual, and assign sounds to the drum notes.
