getting falls and other arpeggios to play

• Apr 17, 2020 - 21:20

I have a short riff to which I've put a fall on the last note, and I want to hear the fall in the playback. In the manual it says I can select the fall and then set it to play in the Inspector, but when I look in the Inspector there doesn't seem to be an option for whether to play or not. I looked in the Style menu, and found that the arpeggios are set to play, but this one doesn't. Is there something I'm missing?

For the time being...
... and depending on how important playback is to you, the bend feature can be used to effect a fall.
Here's an example:
Fall_down.mscz

To see the (invisible) bends, use menu item: View and put a check in the 'Show Invisible' box. Then right click the bend to view 'Bend Properties'.
See:

Also observe that the note itself has a tuning offset in the Inspector. (Necessary to obtain the initial pitch before the fall.)
