OS: Windows 10 (10.0), Arch.: x86_64, MuseScore version (64-bit): 3.4.2.9788, revision: 148e43f

  1. Create a new score and enter a note.
  2. Put an articulation to the note (for example, an accent; shift+V)
  3. Click on the note and change its voice (for example, ctrl+alt+2).

Expected result: the articulation is maintained.
Actual result: the articulation disappears.

Severity S4 - Minor S5 - Suggestion

This is currently by design - articulations are not attached to individual notes but rather to the entire chord. And one of the whole reasons it was made possible to move individual notes between voices was to allow for splitting up chords into multiple voices. Otherwise, you could just use Tools / Voices, which moves entire chords, articulations and all.

That said, it's not impossible that someday we could enhance the voice change commands to check to see if you've moved an entire chord, and if so, copy the articulations ove.r
