How to crash MuseScore:
1. Make a score with multiple staves.
2. Make a bracket of some sort, unless there already is one.
3. Select it and go to the Inspector.
4. Change the Column setting.
Bam. CRASH.

Weird. I tried this again and it did not crash, maybe it has to do with score size?
I very much doubt the score size to play a role there
