In order to asssist, we'd need you to describe in more detail what you are doing and what goes wrong. For me, if I load you score, click the first measure, and press N, MuseScore goes into note input mode as expected, and I can enter notes normally (eg, by typing letter names). It's possible you inadvertently redefined the keyboard shortcut, or that some other program on your system is "stealing" the keyboard input (a keyboard macro utility, for example).
