Salvation Army Brass Band Scoring Template required
Is it possible for some 'genius' to produce three extra different Brass Band templates especially for Salvation Army (or even non-Salvation Army) composers to use, and then adding these templates permanently for the moment you create a 'new score' and 'choose instruments' (which I think you would then need to provide direct to Musescore for them to add in later). (by the way, Salvation Army Brass Band scoring is slightly different to non-Salvation Army scoring i.e. Colliery Bands etc). I believe that this query has been worked on since around 2014 and no-one has managed to make these templates for officially adding into Musescore. Also, this would certainly improve Musescore in a most exceptional way while making Musescore music notation software much more 'powerful' than it already is. Finally, the 'correct way' for setting out the instruments for the three S.A.scoring templates are as given below:-
a) 'GENERAL SERIES' (17 seperate parts)...
SOPRANO CORNET E♭
SOLO CORNET B♭
1ST CORNET B♭
2ND CORNET B♭
FLUGEL HORN B♭
SOLO HORN E♭
1ST HORN E♭
2ND HORN E♭
1ST BARITONE B♭
2ND BARITONE B♭
1ST TROMBONE B♭
2ND TROMBONE B♭
BASS TROMBONE
EUPHONIUM B♭
BASS E♭
BASS B♭
PERCUSSION
b) 'TRIUMPH SERIES' (14 seperate parts)...
SOPRANO CORNET E♭
1ST CORNET B♭
2ND CORNET B♭
1ST HORN E♭
2ND HORN E♭
1ST BARITONE B♭
2ND BARITONE B♭
1ST TROMBONE B♭
2ND TROMBONE B♭
BASS TROMBONE
EUPHONIUM B♭
BASS E♭
BASS B♭
PERCUSSION
c) 'UNITY SERIES' (usually 10 parts although, I would definitely suggest adding both a SOPRANO CORNET E♭ and also EUPHONIUM SOLOIST B♭ incase some composers wish to add it in as an alternative as they are also used sometimes in S.A. scoring)...
1ST CORNET B♭
2ND CORNET B♭
1ST HORN E♭
2ND HORN E♭
BAR./TROM. B♭
EUPHONIUM B♭
BASS E♭
BASS B♭
PERCUSSION I
PERCUSSION II
Before I go, I would appreciate anyone trying their best to actual get these 1, 2 or 3 templates worked out. Also I would like to say that it is such a pity that every instrument of 'any type' hasn't being added to the 'choose instruments'as this would be much more worthwhile for almost every person using Musecore.
Thank you for sharing!

I don't think MuseScore can have every template for every situation but you can easily modify the existing Brass template and save it for future use. Hope this matches #1 on your list. The directory where your Templates reside will depend upon your system - the Handbook may help you there.

I don't think this would "improve Musescore in a most exceptional way" or make "Musescore music notation software much more 'powerful' than it already is."
It would make it slightly more convenient for arrangers of SA music. That's it.
As has been pointed out in previous comments here, it is super easy to add prepare these templates yourself. A template is just a regular score saved in a specific Templates folder.
Here is a proposal for how to do it:
Create a new score using the existing "Brass Band" template.
Modify it to match your setup
Save it in the Templates folder.
(And read the Handbook description on Templates )
And if you want to share your new template, you can just send it in an email to your friends who can then store it in their Templates folder.
