OS: Windows 10 (10.0), Arch.: x86_64, MuseScore version (64-bit): 3.4.2.9788, revision: 148e43f
- Open the attached MS2 file in MS 2.3.2. Notice the 9/8 and 6/8 "time signatures" added as symbols from the Master Palette.
- Open the same file in MS 3.
Expected result: Same appearance in both cases.
Actual result: The 9/8 and 6/8 symbols have disappeared.

You mean those in measure 4 I guess?
Something else seems terribly "off" with this score, the second system is seen as huge with "infinite" space between the staves.
The missing symbols may be because they were added to a rest, and MuseScore didn't originally support that. I'm guessing when this was fixed, it was never added to the MuseScorew 2 import code.
See #289911: Symbol attached to rest disappears in imported 2.x scores. - seem familiar? :-)
But the weird staff space is concerning also, I'm leaving this open for that.

This is a separate bug only in the latest 3.x-dev nightly (see #306821: Huge spaces between music staves and tablature with offset rests in voice >1). With 3.4.2, the problem is just the disappearing elements.
