Musescore takes several minutes and sometimes a restart to open.

1) Click on the musescore 3 shortcut or open an associated file.
2) Wait for minutes as nothing happens while cpu and ram percentages increase in the task manager.
3) End task and restart computer.
4) Go back to step one.
Eventually If I'm lucky the program will load, but I wish it would just open immediately on the first try.
I am running windows 10 64-bit on a laptop with 8 Gb of Ram and am running the latest version of musescore.

Yes I do. Is this is a known issue with the plugin? I neglected to research this topic very thoroughly.
