  1. add a dynamic to a note
  2. double click on dynamic to edit text
  3. add "sub." or "subito"

Text that is added is in an awful default font rather than FreeSerif as it was before. The font doesn't match the dynamic's font and does not look professional.

This same issue happens when I try to add expressive words to tempo text, such as "allegro".

My guess is the text style for dynamics, or the properties for that specific has been set to something besides the default. You can change it back using the Inspector.
