Opening palettes resizes main window

  1. Open MuseScore. If you have a very large screen then you may need to make the MuseScore window smaller for the sake of this scenario
  2. If the palette sidebar is not already open then go to Display > Palette
  3. Click to open every palette on the side bar

Expected behavior: Main MuseScore window should not resize

Actual behavior: The main window resizes to accommodate the many open palettes

(Tested using r.2205, Windows XP)

The first time I used MuseScore 1.1 (Windows 7), Display Palette tiled the Palette Window and the main window. I closed the Palette Window and the main window resized to fill the screen. I have not been able to find any way to get back to the tiled display. This makes it necessary to move the score out from under the palette window (or close the palette window) to see the first measures.
