OS: Windows 10 (10.0), Arch.: x86_64, MuseScore version (64-bit): 3.5.2.311459983, revision: 465e7b6

Open the attached MS file. In measure 1, select a fingering element and click on the various vertical align buttons in the TEXT section of the Inspector.

Expected result: The vertical align of the fingering shifts slightly as each button is pressed.
Actual result: Nothing happens.

Status active ⇒ by design

Fingering position algorithm is fixed when using the built-in styles, it doesn't rely on the alignment. If you wish to implement your own custom positioning, use instead one of the User styles.
