"MuseScore Preferences" Screen- Can't see Save/Cancel Buttons

This problem is consistenly reproducible on my 13" Acer Aspire S13 Laptop.
My laptops screen size is a major component of this problem, but I should be able to make the Preference screen smaller in order to see these buttons.

Go to Edit-Preferences
The screen opens but the Save and Cancel buttons are too far down for my screen to see.
When I try to minimize the Preferences screen, the screen will only move down until I cannot see it at all. But I know it is open because when I try to hit any other key I can't get back into the software.
Only after I tab(blindly) and hit Enter will the Preferences Screen close.

This is highly annoying and I am literally having to count how many tabs from the last entered value before my cursor lands on 'Save' button.

The screen shot I am including, shows all that I can see when it is open. Again, when I try to resize it to make it smaller so I can scroll to the buttons, the whole Preference screen moves down to the point where it is not visible but still active.
