Although I've reported in the "Support and bug reports" forum, I think it is also fitting if I report the issue over here:

Currently, when I've loaded some SFZ soundfont files through the Zerberus in the synthesiser of Musescore 3.5, they have been spread out randomly in a way that doesn't make sense when viewed with the mixer. The instruments are not grouped by their instrument family and cause great hassle when navigating through the mixer. Here is an image suggesting what is going on:

Interestingly, this was not a problem in Musescore 2.3, as shown below:

Here are the sfz soundfonts that I've used: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1Qxsf0w2DM9nonwNTur_HHSbEui1HlNw…

From what I've heard that mixer is going through a major design review. In that case, would it be possible if the user can sort/arrange the sounds of the mixer in whatever order they desire? This would help each user has a custom list, that is more suitable to their work flow.

Thank you for reading this thread,

Severity S3 - Major S5 - Suggestion

Not a bug, as this is by design (and has been done this way deliberately), so rather a feature request AKA Suggestion
