Open the example file, created in 3.5.2.

Up to MS 3.5., the reset dialog only opens when importing pre-MS3 files. Now, however, it is also appearing when you open 3.x files. And even if you chose "Keep old style", it still marks the score dirty. This is reversed if you UNDO. So, the suspicion is that the dialog is not fully honouring the "Keep old style" option.

Just as important, the dialog should not be opening at all for 3.x files.

The Reset dialog does not open unexpectedly (to those having watched the development), but on purpose, as there is a format change going on.
The rest is a bug though and has been discussed in the developers' chat already.

Another odd thing:

  1. Open MS 3.6, or close and reopen if it is already open. The important thing is that the program is "fresh".
  2. Open the attached (3.5.2) score.
  3. Move the dialog aside so you can see the score.
Expected result: All text objects should be in "FreeSerif" font.
Actual result: It looks as if the fingerings, tempo and text-lines (and others?) have already been changed to "Edwin" font. However, the Inspector display still shows "FreeSerif".
  4. Import the file, keeping the old style.
  5. Now close the score, without saving it, and reopen it. Inspect the score fonts again.
Expected/Actual result: All score fonts are "FreeSerif" as expected.
