reading mscz files on an android tablet
I have been using the free version of musescore to compose music on my PC and I love it. I recently bought an android tablet so could have my music at gigs and not have to lug around paper copies. I downloaded the view and play app on my tablet, but when I try to open my mscz files, I am told the tablet doesn't understand the format. All my files are in dropbox and I don't want to upload them to be public. I don't want to edit the music, just be able to see it. Can you please help and let me know how i can see my music on my tablet?

Support for the Android app is at https://musescore.com/groups/musescore-android and I don't use it. What is possible, which started around a year ago, is that you can upload unlimited scores to your musescore.com account and mark them as private and you are the only one who will ever be able to see them.

O.K., upload all sets to musescore.com.
Later, while at the gig....

Perhaps pdf files of your scores (physically stored) on the android is the way to go. :-)
I'm afraid that if you want MuseScore edit functionality on your tablet the way to go is to buy a Windows tablet, not an android one.
The mobile apps can read locally stored mscz files only in their paid/pro version
I second PDF format to view files on your android tablet. And while the android PDF viewer is OK, do yourself a favor and download the Acrobat version.
OTOH, I own a Surface GO. A 10 inch Windows computer. After I updated it to full Windows and put extra storage in it, it runs MuseScore just fine. And most other things as well.
A further thought: Beside using the MuseScore-Player-App with a pro account, where it's possible to open scores from your tablet, there also exist other sheet music reader for Android, they probably can read pdf or musicxml files.
