You have every kind of instrument for playback one can imagine. You even have bagpipes and helicopter.
Would it kill you to have a euphonium playback instrument?
No, it doesn't sound like a trombone or a tuba.
There are countless composers and arrangers who used or play euphonium.

There is no euphonium sound in a GM soundfont, so we're trying to use the closest match.
GM being General MIDI, the internation standard for such things. But there are plenty of specialty soundfonts out there, almost certainly some include euphoniums and/or baritone horns. So, check out the online Handbook for info on how to download and install soundfonts, and happy hunting!
