If you select an articulation in a score, the Inspector "Articulation" section includes "Ornament style". Not sure this is applicable here.

Comments

For some articulations, that’s necessary.

Take a triller, for example. The default articulation would start with the main note, whereas the “baroque” ornament style makes it start from the upper side-note.

But it is indeed irrelevant for most. Ultimately ornaments and articulations could potentially be split into different element types and this could be excluded from the articulation Inspector. Or, failing that, it could be greyed out for the articulations it is not relevant for. On the other hand, all this may be different in MuseScore 4 anyhow.
