Fractional beam on small staff too long (MuseScore 3.6.2)

A fractional beam should be the length of a notehead. However, when it occurs on a small staff, MuseScore doesn’t scale it properly and it appears too long (actually the same length as on a normal staff). Reducing the length in Format > Style > Beams > Broken beam minimum length doesn’t help, since it affects the normal staff as well.
