Made a score in Sibelius, saved as xml.
Opened in Musescore:
1/ Layout destroyed
2/ drumset sounds as a piano. After changing midi channel to 10, drumset sounds, but a very weary one. Not like the original one.
I suppose this is a common problem, but rather dusturbing.

In general, MusicXML is better suited for interchange of music, not so much for layout. We do provide some limited support for import of layout, but different defaults between programs makes this impossible in general. So you do usually need to do some adjustment. If you have a particular you'd like help with, please ask on the Support forum and attach a copy of the MusicXML and a PDF showing how it looked in the software used to create it, and we can help.

The lay-out is not such a problem: I can make it look OK in minutes.
What I cannot change are the wrong sounds of the drum/percussion. That is a bit ennoying when our band tries to rehearse and record, each at home, a piece. The wrong sounds do disturb, but we cannot turn the percussion off: we need it to "stay together".
By rewriting the part we can solve the problem, but it is rather time-consuming. Therefor I wandered if there were a better solution...
