Spontaneous factory reset
OS: Windows 10 (10.0), Arch.: x86_64, MuseScore version (64-bit): 3.6.2.548021803, revision: 3224f34
While editing a file, all my palettes reverted to factory defaults after the program froze for a moment.

Forget it. Just realised it had switched from "Advanced edited" to "Basic edited" . (BTW why "edited"? Is this a clumsy translation from something?)

"edited" because you changed. Use View > Worskpaces > Reset workspace to get rid of those changes and the "edited"

A workspace reports as being "edited" if you've customized it in any way - adding or removing palette cells, re-ordering palettes, etc.
