Get latest version of Musescore

I downloaded the latest version of Musescore from your website, with the version 3.6.2.5 showing (MuseScore-3.6.2.548021803-x86_64.msi), and ran the installer. When I then open it, the version shows as 3.3.4.

So I try to import a .mscz file (created by musescore's .pdf converter) , and it says that my software is an older version - I need to upgrade to use open that file. How can I get a later version installed.

Please help.

You probably additionally have the MuserScore version from the Microsoft store installed, that is still at 3.3.4 (see #313298: MuseScore in Microsoft Store is outdated, still at 3.3.4; remove link on Download page)
