In the editor, when an element is selected the offset displays 'X :', but underneath displays 'Y:', meaning that the Y and the colon intersect. Screenshot 2021-08-04 at 15.41.38.png

It doesn't do this for me. What Operating system? What setting in Edit > General > Appearance > Font?
Seems a kerning issue in that font

I don't see this either, but maybe it's a translation issue - what language is your OS & interface set to? Or it could be poor kerning in whatever the interface font is set to.
