My Mac is heating! the culprit: Musescore!

My Mac ( mac book pro with MacOS big sur 11.5.2) was heating like mad (and the fan was running constantly gobbling the battery charge)
So we changed the battery and made some checks. Then when cross checking for everything it appeared that Musescore was the culprit: even if idle its energetic impact is important!.
Is there in the app somme polling run amok?
