Open any music in the MusicScore downloaded program and the playback button is grey and does not work. I click on any notes, playback button is not there. Just installed on Windows, restarted computer and do not see any settings to be able to fix this. It plays online on the website, but I need to be able to use the play button on the computer. My daughter had this same issue when she used this program on another computer, but she can't remember how it got fixed, it just worked one day. So she has looked at mine and see the same problem she had. Running Windows 10.

From looking at all of the advice listed, I went to the Volume Mixer on my computer and Musescore is not listed there. How do I put it there? I have no sythesizer option, it is greyed out, and no I/O settings. Running Windows.
