Midi files just for piano?

• Dec 10, 2021 - 08:34

I have a QRS Pianomation unit on my piano. I want midi files that are created for the piano. I am willing to do the work, but I was told there are already many midi files on this site.
How do I find them, and especially the ones made for pianos?
If I buy the sheet music, can I use the software (which software?) to create my own piano midi files?

There a tons of scores over on musescore.com (but non here), many of which are for Piano. And for all scores that you can download there, you can get the MIDI version too.
There also a PDF import exists, https://musescore.com/import, which would get you an mscz Score file.

The software to create sheet music though you'd get from here, musescore.org. With that you can export to MIDI too. And import from MIDI

It should be clear by looking at this that it is a lead sheet, though - melody and chord symbols only - not an actual solo piano arrangement. Seems it was probably created in an older version of MsueScore that didn't even play back the chord symbols. So better to keep looking for one that look more clearly like actual arrangements for solo piano.
