DMG wont launch

I downloaded the Mac DMG MuseScore-3.6.2.548020600.dmg . When I click it nothing happens. No Launcher to instal. I control/open and there are no security exceptions I can allow to install. I downloaded also the latest MuseScore 3 nightly build and again it fails to even provide a security warning or ask for an exception. So to repeat when I click the DMG installer nothing happens. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I'm no Mac expert, but is it normal for an installer to require only a single rather than double-click? Try the latter if you haven't already. Also try rebooting in case there is an old "zombie" process running from a previous failed attempt that is blocking new installs.
