Change instrument when not necessary
Hello, I am transcribing a cantata with continuo and two violins. There are several sections, some with all instruments and some with only continuo. How do I differentiate the sections in the same project and hide the instruments that don’t play during that section ?

The staff properties available by right clicking in the staff allows you to set various options forr hiding empty staves.

Use menu item: Format→Style…→Score.
Then choose "Hide empty staves within systems:"
