Single Staff System Barline Change?
I made a post in the past trying to change single staff Barlines to dotted Barlines for an Ossia, I got a lot of help with that. What I was told would work, is dragging the Barline to the one I wanted to change while holding CTRL, My only problem is that this doesn't work on the System Barline—a.k.a. the barline on the right of the bracket and on the left of the clefs and key signature.—

In order to understand and assist, we would need you to attach your score and explain the specific notation you are trying to create. Dotted system barlines are not standard, but depending on what you have to work with, we can probably find ways of creating the special effect you are looking to create.

The dotted/dashed barline on the left is the only on one staff, between the ossia and the main instrument.

Ah, so it's not that you want the entire system barline to be dotted, but rather, you want the barline between these specific staves to be dotted everywhere it occurs - presumably, the same would be needed if the ossia started mid-system?
I can't think of a direct way to accomplish that - best I can think is to add this as a graphic. which should work but you'd have to size and position it manually.. Maybe now that we see what you are trying to do, someone e may have some better ideas.
