  2. Right click and find "Remove Selected Range" (or use the Ctrl + Del shortcut)

MuseScore has consistently crashed when performing this action, which is usually less than a minute after startup. After editing other aspects of the score for a period of time, the bug seemed to go away temporarily. It later came back and MuseScore subsequently crashed again.

Since then, the bug has persisted across multiple startups.

It should be noted that this only occurs on the attached scores, and I have not been able to reproduce it on other scores yet.

I first encountered this bug yesterday (2022-03-09).

This bug seems to have disappeared.

I closed MuseScore before it had the opportunity to crash, and then reopened it and the bug no longer persisted.

Not a clue why it persisted for so long before that, but oh well.
