What OS? What version MuseScore?
Can you attach any of those bogus files?

I'm on mac0S Monterey. 12.3.1. Musescore 3.6.2. This file used to have a title. Such as psalm 34. Now they appear like the attatchment below.

That seems to be an autosave file. And a copy of 'my first score'

I don't know. Every file is there with the date they were saved. All titles are gone and every score is blank since April 2021. Probably about 50 scores gone.

Most likely you're looking at the wrong place.
MuseScore never ever deletes scores.

pretty sure they got lost because my computer updated.

Software / OS updates don't delete files either. Whatever folder you saved those files they, they are still there, still with their original names - you just need to somehow remember exactly where that is. Perhaps you can find someone in your rea who has more system administration experience to help you look. But, unless you deleted the files (in which case, they'd probably be in your recycle bin / trash / whatever your OS calls this), they are definitely still there where you put them.

True, I recall one particular update last year appearing to blow away the entire Documents folder. But, a) as I recall it didn't really delete anything, it just changed the user name, also b) if this were the case here, the OP wouldn't be finding any scores, and c) OP is not on Windows :-)

Go to Edit > Preferences... and look in the 'Folders' section of the 'General' tab.
What does it say in the 'Scores' box? Navigate to that location and you should see files with regular titles, yes?

Somewhere (usually in your "scores" folder) is a folder called "msc.backup". you may have to do a search for it. Your files may be in there as "mscz," files. Copy one to a different location and rename it to remove the final "coma" after "mscz". You should be able to open it in MuseScore. I take it that other folders are still in the main folder?
