Combine tracks into one channel
I have a midi file with many different tracks, that are supposed to represent one instrument. How do I combine all of the tracks into one?
I have tried selecting everything (Control A) and then using Tools->Implode, which is documented to be why I want to do, but in reality nothing happens.
I've attached the midi file.

I'm not surprised implode doesn't work on this file that is really odd. Try doing it in smaller sections. Actually I don't think implode was ever intended to do what you are after.
If I select all and Implode, I get the first staves implodes onto the top staff. That's correct. Implode wasn't designed to handle more than that at once. So first remove all the empty staves, then implode in groups of four.
