open and short score
I have a choral work in short score. Can I expand it to be open score? or visa versa? I assume it has to do with the implode or explode function but can't make it work. Maybe I am off base.

You need to add empty staff below that one, You are going to explode.
If you have:
Women
Men
You need:
Women
Alto
Men
Than, when you explode "Women", second women voice is transfered into alto.
