It's not "random" at all. Adding an accent means that more space is needed above or below a stave to accommodate it. That in turn means there is no longer room for everything on the same page and so Musescore throws a new page. There are many adjustments available to increase the amount of music you can get on a page - smaller margins, larger page size, smaller staff size, closer staff spacing, to suggest a few. Or perhaps just move the accent slightly to allow collision avoidance without widening the distance between staves. If you attach the score (.mscz file) rather than a picture and say exactly where you want to add the accent someone can probably provide detailed advice on how to keep everything on the same page.
If believe the problem is something other than ta simple matter of more space being required, please attach your actual score (not just a picture) and tell us which specific note you re talking about.
