Every time I use my midi, it notes it twice every time I press a key. It is not anything severe, it just isn't enjoyable. I'm constantly having to go back to edit out the extra notes that were written down. Is there something on my end that I can do to resolve the issue? I don't know if there is anything that I could do, but please look into it.

Sounds like your keybaord is probably set to send two notes for every key - like if you have enable a "layering" feature. Consult your keyboard documentation to learn how to disable that.
