You've been warned, a) MuseScore 4 is a Beta and b) you should never ever overwrite a 3.x version with a 4.x one, but use Save As instead

The file you attached was last saved in 3.6.2, not in any experimental pre-release build of MuseScore 4. It's true it opens blank (ib both 3 & 4). But since it says explicitly that is was last saved in MuseScore 3, then clearly, whatever led to this, it happened in MsueScore 3, not in MuseScore 4. Since you seem to be saying this score previously had music in it, my guess is you simply are looking at the wrong file - like maybe you saved it a different folder than you remember. Be sure to do a full search of your entire drive - including system and hidden folders - to find all MSCZ files. Probably your original is still right there, wherever you saved it.

When you recover your original, or a backup using the instructions above, be sure to make a copy of it for safekeeping. And then if you're able to reproduce the problem again, please attach the score in its state before the problem occurs, and give precise steps to reproduce the problem.
